Cozumel Humane Society Halloween Party

There was a big turnout for the Cozumel Humane Society’s annual Halloween party (and fundraiser). Carlos and Charlie’s was decorated for the traditional American holiday that is being increasingly embraced by Mexicans.

The CHS made extra efforts this year to have activities and attractions for the kids. The haunted house drew screams, a large jack o’ lantern piñata was loaded with candy and costume contests were held for the youth and the adults.

We tried something different this year and set up a photo booth to photograph the costumes. The creativity and the variety of costumes were impressive. Someone even came dressed as the glamourous Delfina Ruiz! She looked just like her.

The photo booth was lots of fun, people donated $50 pesos or more for their photo booth session and we raised more than $700 pesos for the Humane Society. The individual photos will be sent out soon. Here are our favorites.

Make sure you scroll down to see them all. We saved the best for last (can you guess why?)

Vote for your favorite. We’ll tell you on Friday who won best costume.
